Turning an outdated website into a focal point for the business
Revampavan is a Christchurch-based specialist in high-quality campervan conversions. The business had already built a strong reputation, an established brand and an impressive portfolio of completed vans, but its existing in-house website wasn’t communicating any of this particularly well.
The challenge for Giraffe was to take everything that was already good about Revampavan and present it more effectively online — creating a website that reflected the quality of their work, made their services easier to understand and became a stronger tool for generating new business.
Objectives
Campervan conversions are a significant investment and customers want to explore their options, see examples of finished vans and feel confident they’re choosing the right company before making contact.
Revampavan’s existing website had become dated and didn’t make the most of the company’s excellent photography, strong branding or range of conversion options.
It also needed a clearer structure that would put the six main campervan conversion packages at the heart of the customer journey, while still promoting additional services including pop-top roofs, upgrades and electric campervan conversions.

The six core conversion packages became a central part of the website, making it easier for visitors to compare what’s available, understand the differences and explore each conversion in more detail.
Revampavan already had some great visual assets, so rather than reinventing the brand, we concentrated on making much better use of them. Strong photography, clearer content and a more considered layout allowed the quality and craftsmanship of the conversions to become the focus of the website.
We reviewed and refined the existing content throughout the project, helping communicate Revampavan’s experience and services more clearly while creating stronger calls to action to encourage enquiries.
Behind the design, we developed a custom WordPress website using our flexible framework, giving the Revampavan team an easy-to-manage platform that can be updated and expanded as new conversions, services and projects are introduced.
